You’ll have time to really appreciate the ship’s facilities on your transatlantic crossing. Treat yourself to a relaxing session in the Canyon Ranch Spa; take a dip in one of the five swimming pools, one with a retractable dome in case of inclement weather. Works by some of the greatest modern artists can be seen in the Art Gallery, browse in the luxury Mayfair boutiques or simply find a quiet spot with a book from the library. Queen Mary 2 boasts the only planetarium at sea, Illuminations, which doubles as a cinema in the afternoon.

Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea served by white-gloved waiters in the Queens Room, the largest ballroom at sea, a pre-dinner cocktail in the Chart Room, or even a game of darts in the Golden Lion Pub. Dining is always a special treat on a cruise. Descend the grand sweeping two-storey staircase into the Britannia Restaurant to enjoy delicious cuisine and exceptional service.

A programme of activities will keep you more than occupied. Perhaps join a RADA acting workshop or cocktail-making class, brush up on your card game skills in the casino, or join the on-board book club.

However you choose to spend your time, this truly is a magical journey. The combination of exciting Las Vegas, vibrant New York and the relaxed pace of life aboard Queen Mary 2 is utterly enticing.
